Olympus Releases OM-D E-M5 Mark III

Nikon Z50 will not be alone, after 4 years OM-D E-M5 Mark II was released, Olympus finally updated it with OM-D E-M5 Mark III.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III appears with a more resilient body that is now resistant to cold, dust, and water splashes with IPX1 certification.

This new mirrorless camera also comes with a 20-megapixel Micro Four-thirds sensor along with 121 detect phase AF points, & TruePic VIII image processor.

OM-D E-M5 Mark III burst shot capability reaches 6 FPS with mechanical shutter and continuous autofocus, or 10 FPS with an electronic shutter.

This camera also brings In-body Image Stabilizer (IBIS) technology which is claimed to be able to produce compensation of up to 6.5 stops with compatible lenses.

Like other OM-D series, Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III is also equipped with an OLED Electronic Viewfinder (EVF).

While at the backside, there is a 3-inch touch screen that can be rotated in various directions, including facing forward to facilitate selfie shooting.

OM-D E-M5 Mark III video capabilities are also enhanced by adding 120 FPS recording formats at 1080p resolution and DCI Cinema 4K 30 FPS.
