AMD is reportedly preparing to launch Radeon HD 7790 a graphics card that will fill a space between HD 7850 and HD 7770.

Currently Radeon HD 7770 is priced in the range of US $110, while Radeon HD 7850 at around US $170. Radeon HD 7790 reportedly will be priced in the range of US $150.


AMD Radeon HD 7790 is said to have used “Bonaire” core on the GPU and 896 stream processors. The use of Bonaire core is claimed by AMD would allow the use of memory with tighter latencies which would lead to faster performance.

The plan, AMD Radeon HD 7790 will start rolling out to the market in April.
