Philips and StarMaker has announced their cooperation in producing a portable
karaoke device for iOS (the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch), the AEA7100. This device comes with a set of wireless Bluetooth microphone and speakers.
To use it, you simply plug your iOS device into the 30-pin docking
speakers. Then download the StarMaker application available on the AppStore and you're ready to sing.
The StarMaker application itself comes with a wide variety of songs and its lyrics. This app also provide a handy record feature to allow you to record your voice and share it online.
If you want to sing with your friends, you can choose the challenge mode. In this mode you and your friends can sing together and the results are judged based on your accuracy between the tempo of the music and the lyrics.
And to make your singing performance to sound perfect, StarMaker features auto tune. By enabling this feature automatically your vocal notation will be corrected to the right path. Shortly anyone will be able to sing properly with this portable karaoke device. You can also still use the speakers to listen to the songs with your smartphone or tablet PC via a Bluetooth connection.
Phillips StarMaker AEA7100 is now available for U.S market for U.S. $ 179.
