Peugeot has presented their latest unique scooter prototype in Paris Motor Show 2012, the Onyx Concept Scooter. This three-wheeled bike is using hybrid engines which are claimed to be very environmentally friendly.
This scooter concept will be made by using plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines 400 cc engine with an electric motor. The combination of this engine capable to produce 60 hp with 58 Nm maximum torque. With that power, Onyx Concept Scooter capable to run up to 150 km / h with 2 L per 100 km fuel consumption.
Peugeot Onyx Concept Scooter offers two driving configurations, the Urban Mode and Sport Mode. In Sport mode, the rider position will be like when riding a superbike.
However, until now there is no further official information about when Peugeot Onyx Concept Scooter will be mass-produced.
