KIA is preparing for a new electric car that will marketed globally in 2014. Reportedly the “Soul” models will get an electric version that will be launched in mid-2014.
According to the Marketing President of KIA Europe Benny Oeyen, his company is in the middle of setting up an electric-powered Soul.
Later, European consumers will be able get it first.
Previously, KIA already have electric cars, KIA Ray but the car is not mass-produced and only sold in Korea. KIA Ray has 50 kW and able to run as far as 138.4 km.
KIA is also reportedly preparing KIA Soul and conventional version that will be launched in Chicago, USA on February 2013.
