The number of computing devices based on Windows 8 are expected will be increasing. For starters, Lenovo has set up 3 new Windows 8 laptops to compete with other vendors through Ideapad Yoga, IdeaTab Lynx, and ThinkPad Twist.

Lenovo Ideapad Yoga has run its first debut at CES 2012. This product will be available in 2 models, 13 inch and 11 inch. Yoga 13 comes with 13.3-inch IPS screen, audio support Dolby Home Theater certified, and Intel Core i3 or Intel Core i5.

As for Yoga 11, Lenovo prepare it with ARM processor from Nvidia Tegra 3 and will run Windows 8 RT that is specially presented for tablet PC. Due to the use of more efficient processor, the battery is claimed able to last up to 13 hours.
Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 ($ 1,099) and 11 ($ 799) will be available on October 26, 2012.

If you want to enjoy the benefit of tablet PC portability with a laptop functionality then Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx is the answer.

IdeaPad Lynx actually is a tablet PC with 11.6-inch IPS screen, Intel platform Clover Trail, Intel's dual core Atom-Z2760, 2GB DDR2 RAM memory, and 64GB storage capacity.

To make it as a laptop, you only need to pull out some extra money to buy a docking keyboard that has run a number of connectivity ports such as USB and HDMI. In laptop mode (plugged into the docking keyboard), you can use IdeaPad Lynx for up to 16 hours (normal use).

Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx will be available on the market in December 2012 at $ 599 and the docking keyboard is priced at $ 149.

And finally, Lenovo ThinkPad Twist an Ultrabook for young professionals will comes with 12.5-inch IPS screen that can be rotated, Intel Core i7 processors with 3G technology support ( optional).

To provide maximum computing performance, Lenovo ThinkPad Twist also comes with 8GB DDR3 memory, 128GB SSD, 500GB hard disk, and up to 7 hours battery life.
