VW Golf Mk VIIYesterday, Volkswagen AG has launched the latest version of the Golf hatchback the Mk VII at the Museum of Berlin.

Compared to the current generation, the Mk VII shape does not change much except the headlights which are now more narrow and rectangular. But when watched more carefully, the body and the interior has undergone a total redesign.

While the body weights now is 100 kg lighter than the existing models that makes it 23 percent more efficient.

VW Golf Mk VIIAlthough lighter, VW Golf Mk VII will be 56 mm longer, 13 mm wider and 28 mm lower than the previous generation. This hatchback also has 4255 mm of length, 1799 mm of width, and 1452 mm of height.

VW Golf Mk VIIVW Golf Mk VII is powered 140 hp engine with cylinder deactivation and a stop-start system. While the average fuel consumption is 20.8 km / liter and 26.3 km / liter for the 105 hp engine model.
