Olympus has released 2 new
micro four third cameras, the PEN E-PL5 and PEN E-PM2.
Both cameras have 16.1 MP High-Speed Live MOS sensor with TruePic VI image processor which is also used on Olympus OM-D E-M5, ISO 100 to 12,800 that can be increased up to ISO 25,600,
and supported by AF FAST (Frequency Acceleration Sensor Technology) system.
Olympus PEN E-PL5 and PEN E-PM2 also has the ability to take photos with 8fps, Full HD 1080i video recording, and editing photos with RAW format directly from the camera. This brand new Olympus camera also brings Image Share so you can transfer your photos to social networking. To do so, you can connect the camera memory card with Wi-Fi connections.
Olympus PEN E-PL5 has a metal body with an LCD screen that can be rotated up to 180 degrees. So for those of you who tend to be narcissistic, this camera is perfect for self-portrait. This camera also comes with more manual controls and equipped with adjustable camera grip.
While Olympus PEN E-PM2 has a compact body design that is smaller and lighter than E-PL5. This camera also more fashionable with easy navigation menu.
Olympus PEN E-PL5 comes with a choice of silver, black, white and priced at U.S. $ 649.99 (body only). While PEN E-PM2 comes with a choice of silver, black, white, red and priced at U.S. $ 549.99 (body only).
