Sony recently has introduced their latest professional digital camcorder with high-definition video, E-mount lens system, and an ergonomic body design, the NEX-EA50EH.Sony NEX-EA50EH is designed to facilitate you to switch the camcorder from your shoulder to your hand with ease. The shoulder pads can be folded so the camcorder size can be quite compact. While the CMOS Exmor APS HD sensor will gives flexibility between Full HD video recording and photographing.
NEX-EA50H can produce 16 megapixels images that support RAW format and includes mechanical shutter to take pictures with a high shutter speed. For the lens, you can use the E-mount lenses as used on Sony NEX camera series. And if you want to use the A-mount lens, you can add the LA-EA2 adapter.Sony also includes a new Power Zoom E PZ 18-200 F3.5-6.3 OSS SELP18200 lens. This lens has autofocus, continuous variable iris and Optical Steady Shot with Active Mode which makes it ideal for recording fast action video.
To control the zooming, you can use the “zoom rocker” on the grip. The zooming speed is also a constant and smooth, a difficult thing to accomplish if you set the zoom manually.Sony NEX-EA50EH also has been equipped with various functions, such as 2-channel XLR audio, Linear PCM, time code, and GPS. You also can connect Sony HXR-FMU 128 flash memory to this professional camcorder. While the price is set around US$ 4500.
