Canon has introduced two new superzoom camera, the SX160 IS and SX500 IS. Both cameras are using 16 megapixel sensor supported by DIGIC 4 image processor and Canon image stabilization system.Both Canon SX160 IS & SX500 IS also have 3-inch LCD screen, ISO 100-80 range, and the ability to record 720p video at 25 fps.

Canon SX500 IS brings 30x optical zoom, f/3.4-5.8 aperture, 32 percent better autofocus capability than the SX40 HS and decreases shutter lag as much as 32 percent. Meanwhile Canon SX160 has the ability to zoom up to 16x. This camera was sold at a cheaper price than SX500 IS. This camera also come with a dedicated button for video recording.Canon SX500 IS
