Samsung has released the second generation of Samsung EX-series, the EX2F which is still retains a large diaphragm lens but now also contains a variety of innovative features.The design is similar to Samsung EX1. The body is wrapped with magnesium alloy material to offer high durability. Combined with the swivel 3-inch LCD AMOLED screen, this new Samsung camera is so tough as well as functional.
Samsung EX2F is using BSI (back-side illuminated) sensor, CMOS with 12.4 MP resolution, and Schneider Kreuznach 24mm wide lens diaphragm f/1.4 with 3.3x optical zoom capability (24mm f/1.4 - 80mm f/2.7).
The lens also has been equipped with ND Filter to help you to reduce the shutter speed when the light is too bright. In addition, the support of up to ISO 12800 and a larger aperture lens, make Samsung EX2F become more promising when used in low-light conditions.
Samsung EX2F also reliable in terms of video recording, with a support for Full HD 1080p resolution with Dual Capture feature that can be used to take photos while shooting video is in progress.
Not only that, another smart feature also comes on Samsung EX2F like Dual IS (OIS and DIS) to minimize blur caused by hand shake, manual control options, shooting in RAW format as DSLR camera, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity, Mobile Link, Remote Viewfinder, Email, Auto Backup, and the ease to share your photos to various social networking sites.
Samsung EX2F will go on sale in August 2012 with a price tag of USD 549.
