Autobild Magazine has reported that BMW i5 models will be launched in 2015. The i5 is a medium-size version of the BMW i3. i5 is basically is a MPV with a high roof, sliding rear seats and being targeted to compete with Toyota Prius + MPV.Just like the BMW i3, i5 MPV will use an electric motor mounted on the rear axle and capable in producing 170 PS power with 250 Nm of torque.
BMW i5 is estimated will be sold at prices starting from 50,000 Euro.
