Samsung NC220 is a monitor without CPU, memory, hard drive but can be used as a thin client where we only need to add a keyboard and mouse to be able to run it like ordinary computer (utilizing cloud computing).This monitor also using Cisco technology, Universal Power Over Ethernet (UPOE). With this technology NC220 monitor can get the electrical power from an ethernet network cable.
Technology Power Over Ethernet (POE) itself able to generate 2x greater electric power than POE technologies (UPOE to 60 watts, while POE only 30 watts). This technology provides more flexibility for users to connect more devices in this monitor not only keyboard and mouse but also a card reader or printer if necessary.
