Thanks to Panasonic, consumers in Japan will get a hybrid e-book reader that has been specially designed for Japanese market. This hybrid e-book will get an e-book source from Rakuten, the leading online shopping stores in Japan.The e-book will be distribute by booklista Co., which is a joint company established by Sony and Toppan Printing Co.
Panasonic Hybrid e-book reader is using Android 2.2 froyo with touch screen 2.2 and 7-inch LCD that has up to 1024 × 600 of resolution, dual-core CPU, microSDHC slot, and 16 pre-installed applications (browser, mail client, Adobe reader, etc.) and WiFi connectivity.
This brand new Hybrid e-book reader price is still not announced yet and Panasonic are still looking for the right time to launch this device as soon as possible.
